I am in my first few weeks of Spring Semester, my last semester at UNC-Greensboro and I am taking ECO375, Government & Business. I believe I maybe in a little over my head. Along with that, I have the newest edition of the textbook and I am finding that the prof isn't using that edition. I asked him a question, referencing a specific question on a specific page and of course they didn't line up, so I wrote the question out in an email reply back. In his response, he wrote back and quoted some text from the book, which I have searched hi and low for and CAN NOT LOCATE! I am now officially FREAKING THE FUCK out!
How am I going to be able to study for his exams if I am not studying the same material? An example of this would be the fact that I got a D on the first exam for Unit 1.
This evening, which by the way; it is STILL RAINING, he posted our discussion grades for Unit One and I received 35 out of 30 points! Is this a mistake, or is he feeling sorry for me, did I really do a kick ass job and deserve this amazing mark? I do ask a ton of questions via email and attend his twice weekly chat sessions, which nobody else bothers to attend. Fingers crossed, he is giving this 'old lady' a break :)
